Brief

Safelec Supply is one of the UK’s premier trade component organisations, but had no online presence.

Zonica was selected by the Safelec Management team to work with the company in creating a complete online ecommerce solution, to result in one of the UK’s largest trade ecommerce websites.

Action

Zonica worked with the Safelec team in developing a user interface that would be both simple and user-friendly, and also appealing to the target audience of builders and tradesmen.

The Zonica development team built a custom ecommerce solution with the following modules to maximise the efficiency of the website, and to reduce the amount of manpower required to maintain the website.

  1. Product management system
  2. Online inventory management system
  3. Multilingual support
  4. Multi-currency support
  5. Invoice management system
  6. Order management system
  7. Email marketing system
  8. Reporting module

Zonica managed the process of uploading over 3,500 products to the Safelec Supply website, resulting in one of the UK’s largest trade websites.
