Brief

Danuta Kean is an award winning freelance arts journalist and publishing commentator whose work appears in newspapers from the Times and Independent on Sunday to the Financial Times.

As an independent journalist Danuta wanted a website in which she could easily publish her articles, thoughts and ideas.

Action

Zonica designed, developed and implemented a blog which enabled Danuta to easily and securely publish unlimited posts per day. Simplicity was paramount, and using the management interface Danuta is able to easily manage her posts, insert multimedia, and promote her website and her work.

Keeping your website up-to-date is vital for freelance journalists, It’s your calling card for editors, proof that you can deliver what you promise. I knew I had the content, but I needed to present it in a way that was both easy on the eye and easy for readers to navigate. It also needed to be easy to upload. Zonica completely understood this, and produced a website that is on the money for me and readers. Within days of launching, I’d received dozens of emails from contacts and colleagues saying how good it looked and how easy it is to navigate - recommendations on rival blogs!
